Safety Glasses for Pickleball

Writer: Nathan TruongNathan Truong

On the pickleball courts, players are struck by the ball daily, either accidentally or intentionally. While outdoor players don sunglasses for eye protection, few indoor players follow suit, posing a concern. Without proper eyewear, players risk permanent or partial vision loss, torn retinas, eye bleeding, cuts, and black eyes. To prevent these common eye injuries, clear, shatterproof, and anti-fog lenses are essential. In response, Obelisk now offers lightweight, shatterproof photochromic safety glasses designed specifically for pickleball players. These lenses transition between clear and dark based on lighting conditions, providing seamless transition between indoor and outdoor play.
